Debbie is a CIPFA qualified accountant who worked for most of her career working for PwC providing accounting and auditing advice to NHS auditors. She joined the HFMA in 2013 as part of the team writing online course material and supporting committees. In her current role, Debbie leads on the HFMA’s output relating to financial reporting, capital, VAT and tax as well as digital. She currently supports the Accounting and Standards Committee, VAT sub-committee and Provider Technical Issues Group.

The HFMA is broadly supportive of the proposals but members are very concerned about the impact on their bottom line and capital allocations.
