Environmental Sustainability Special Interest Group
Highlighting good practice in embedding environmental sustainability in the NHS.
The Environmental Sustainability Special Interest Group works to highlight good practice in the NHS and the wide range of benefits that embedding environmental and social sustainability offers, including operating within safe financial limits, to developing robust, resilient and future proof models of prevention and care. Its work programme includes the NHS environmental sustainaility guidance map, regular round-ups and supporting the annual HFMA environmental sustainability conference.
The group’s membership includes representatives from across the NHS and wider public sector, as well as NHS England and independent consultants.
The committee meets three times a year.
