Briefing / Making the case for investment in prevention and early intervention: tools and frameworks to help local authorities and the NHS (Public Health England)
Public Health England has identified making the case for investing in prevention and early intervention a key priority within its health economics work programme. The work is being undertaken in close collaboration with colleagues from NICE. This document sets out the prioritisation frameworks and associated tools and resources which are used by the NHS and local authorities. In addition it focuses on three topics - tobacco, alcohol and physical activity - in order to demonstrate the support that is already available.
