HFMA response / The HFMA's response to HMRC's consultation on charities tax compliance
The HFMA's response sets out the HFMA's NHS Charity Finance Group's concerns about the proportionality and impact of HMRC's proposals. The consultation suggests that lack of understanding and training may be the reason for charities failing to comply meet the appropriate rules. The HFMA's Charity Finance Committee has therefore offered to assist with training for NHS charities, where possible.
