HFMA response / The Healthcare Financial Management Association’s response to the HMRC’s consultation on off-payroll working in the public sector: reform of the intermediaries legislation

The HFMA is broadly supportive of the proposals to simplify the process of ensuring that off-payroll arrangements are compliant with the appropriate tax legislation.  However, we have concerns about the proposed timescale for the introduction of the changes and the practical application of the changes.  We are not supportive of the proposal that these arrangements will apply to only to public sector organisations.
