The HFMA’s Financial Management and Research Committee has discussed the future of capital planning and funding in the NHS. The first version of this discussion document was drafted in the autumn of 2012 to highlight the issues raised and posed a series of questions reflecting the uncertainties surrounding capital in the NHS.
