Nutritional therapist and mindfulness teacher

I am a Nutritional Therapist and Mindfulness Teacher living in London, UK. I am originally from Finalnd. My background is in the sciences and therapeutic arts and my passion for personalised holistic health stems from this. I believe we are all unique and this is at the heart of the health care plans I design for my clients.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in my mid twenties. I also learnt that I was highly sensitive and had physical health issues (ie. PCOS, IBS) that required specific support. I started to study nutritional therapy in 2011 at Suomen Terveysopisto Salus (Finland) to help understand and treat my physical symptoms better.

In 2015 I started practicing mindfulness to manage my ADHD and anxiety and later trained to become a mindfulness teacher with Mindfulness UK, and Mindfulness Eating Training Institute (USA). My journey overcoming physical and mental health challenges without medication has taught me that everyone is unique, and solutions that work for me may not work for others. I am not against medication at all, however, for me nutrition and mindfulness were a more gentle apprach. To further understand personalised health needs I completed a MSc in Health and Wellbeing in 2021 at Leeds Trinity University.

I always encourage my clients to experiment with different foods and meditations to find out what works best for them. I adapt to the client’s pace as some of us need more time to get used to the new ways than others, and this is important part of making changes that last. Together with my support the clients have been able to find the most suitable dietary options for them and discovering stress management tools that fit into their lives and daily routines.
