News alert / Wales crackdown on illegal vapes
The Welsh government is providing funding to help tackle illegal vaping in Wales. Building on a previous operation to tackle illegal tobacco, Trading Standards Wales will use test purchasing and dog detection, intelligence gathering and checks at ports to ensure illegal and possibly dangerous products are removed from sale. The aim is to help safeguard consumers, including children and young people, who are increasingly using vapes.
