NHS Providers has published a report highlighting steps and innovations introduced by trusts to support staff wellbeing. Providers deliver: enabling wellbeing within trusts includes case studies from hospital, mental health, community and ambulance trusts. The report notes that, since 2010, the demands of working in the NHS have been compounded by rising vacancies, squeezed funding and increases in patient demand, on top of the Covid-19 pandemic, cost of living crisis and industrial action. Last year saw the highest rate of staff turnover on record.
