News alert / NCC submission problems continue
NHS England held an urgent call with costing practitioners this week to discuss ongoing issues with submission of the 2022/23 national cost collection (NCC). After a series of delays to the submission window (as previously reported), a three week window finally opened on 20 November, but trusts are still having problems finalising their submissions due to faults in the new data validation engine. Bug fixes continue to be issued, but feedback on submission and error validation remains a significant area of concern. Trusts that submitted their data last week may need to resubmit in order to receive confirmation of a successful completion of the process. A recording of the meeting is available on the costing engagement workspace on FutureNHS and queries should be directed to [email protected].
