It is expected that the preparation and audit of the 2021/22 annual report and accounts will be as difficult as the previous year. Although there are few changes to accounting standards and reporting requirements, the pandemic continues to make ‘usual’ judgments and estimates difficult and there have been continued changes to financial arrangements that will need to be reflected in the accounts.

This webinar provides an auditor’s view on the key issues that NHS bodies need to consider as they prepare their annual report and accounts.

Our speakers consider issues such as:

  • the impact of IFRS 16 on the 2021/22 accounts
  • the continued impact of Covid-19
  • estimates and judgements
