Event / The Velindre virtually assessed patient clinic: delivering effective service change through digital and workforce transformation
The VAP clinic is a standalone clinic. Stable patients who are undergoing routine well tolerated treatment are transferred out of the consultants medical clinic and into the VAP Clinic – a nurse prescriber lead clinic. It also allows for professional extension of non-medical prescribers working at the top end of their registration by being responsible for the patient cancer journey during the patents time in the VAP clinic.
