Event / Scotland Branch Breakfast Session: International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 16 Leases
Join the HFMA Scotland Branch for a breakfast session on IFRS16 Leases on 24 November 2022 at 8:00 - 9:00 on MS Teams
This month’s HFMA Scotland Branch breakfast session will discuss the implementation of the new lease accounting standard IFRS 16 which, adopted by most of the UK Public Sector from 1 April 2022, has significantly altered the accounting and budgetary treatment of leases in NHS Board accounts. The session will cover the key principles of the standard and consider both the accounting and budgetary implications following implementation. This is the most significant technical change to our accounting practice in many years and will be of interest to all members of Board Finance teams, in particular those involved in the preparation of accounts and budgetary estimates.
