Event / NHS finance update for chairs, non-executives & lay members
About this event
This forum was designed as an update on NHS finance current priorities covering the role of the non-executive in areas such as assurance, NHS terminology, governance and NHS structure changes including ICSs.
The NHS is embarking on a period of evolution and rapid change. The Health and Care Bill, once enacted, will bring the proposals set out in the white paper Working together to improve health and social care for all into effect. This forum provided an opportunity to help all those members who are new to their role, as well as existing Lay members and Non-Executive Directors who wished to attend. We heard the latest updates and challenges faced within the world of NHS finance and had the opportunity to discuss with colleagues.
