We all recognise that there are challenges to effective system efficiency planning and especially given the extraordinary times that the NHS finds itself in and the ongoing focus on system working and development.

The PwC team works with the NHS in England at all levels from DHSC to individual trusts, CCGs and systems; with NHSE/I and at regional health board and government levels in both Scotland and Wales. They have significant experience of ICS/system development, including having delivered NHS England’s ‘Aspiring ICS National Leadership Development Programme, supporting 35 CCGs and 10 ICS’ to develop their capability.

Our PwC colleagues will discuss system efficiency planning, focusing on recent experience and then cover some opportunity areas for system-level efficiencies.

We aim to ensure maximum time for Q&A because our experience shows that is where delegates will gain the most value from the session.

We hope that the session will be used to both initiate and support further discussions amongst delegates to inform their own system efficiency planning and developments.
