In this one hour lunch and learn session you will hear from the winners of the HFMA South Central Branch Diversity & Inclusion Award.
The session will discuss the experiences and lessons learned at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust during their journey and share ideas and tips on how they have made finance a more diverse and inclusive place to work.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion are at the heart of the Oxford Health Finance Culture. Within the finance team, there is a dedicated group of individuals who have been empowered to look at improvements in processes to ensure that the Oxford Health Finance team is both diverse and inclusive. The work of this group feeds into a senior management action plan for improvement of diversity & inclusion with the department.
One of the key aims arising from these recommendations is to invest in our people through training and empowering staff of all backgrounds to apply for internal promotion which over time, will increase diversity at a senior level within the finance team.
