HFMA Scotland Branch: Breakfast Session - Pensions
From 1 April 2022 all members of the NHS pension scheme are moving to a new scheme based on CARE rather than final salary. This seminar outlines the changes and differences between the schemes. It also explains the remedy to the McCloud judgement and the choice which members have as a result. There will also be changes to member contribution rates from April 2022 which are shortly to be consulted upon and the seminar outlines the rationale and informs feedback to the consultation.
