The Introduction to Power BI session is designed to give a basic understanding of the power of this Microsoft product in visualising and sharing data to users of information. The session will look at how data from a plethora of systems and sources is being combined, transformed and visualised for end users to access via simple web-based services.

Attendance at this event will provide delegates with a better understanding of how MS Power BI and Azure has been developed as a reporting platform in ESNEFT supporting one version of reporting, merging data into one report from legacy systems. The session will also look at how we're using the technology in SNE ICS to develop views of data from across the ICS. Anyone wanting to collate data from different places - such as ledger systems, PAS systems, excel files, webpages etc - and visualise it to audiences within and outside their own organisation will benefit from this session.

Who should attend
• Those who are looking for a way that they or their organisation can get away from having to go to many different places to get basic information. If you're fed up with logging into one system to see your budget statements, another system to identify which of your staff are vaccinated, another to identify you or your team's mandatory training status, this session will highlight how there is a different way without needing to invest in new systems
• Those working or not working in finance, simply anyone that wants to be able to easily access data and analytics in a self-serve environment.

This session will be delivered by Sean Whatling, Associate Director of Finance - Analytics, East Suffolk and North Essex NHS FT and Keith Ellis, Head of BI, Suffolk and North East Essex CCG's
