About this session
These are exciting times in the development of healthcare.  The pace of change has never been faster.  Every week news media headlines progress in artificial intelligence, human genomics, prevention and the benefits of early diagnosis.  Whether high or low tech, the potential for improving health outcomes is enormous.  This session takes a look at the pipeline of innovation that is here, or will soon be delivering real change to our patients.  This is an opportunity for finance colleagues to share in the exciting developments of the next few years, but also to consider the financial implications that come with this progress.  The NHS is entering a phase of real resource constraint; both financial and workforce.  How will we make the case that innovation and progress is an investable and sustainable proposition?

Who should attend?
The session is designed to appeal to business support managers, management accountants and/or anyone interested in the impact of upcoming developments in health innovation.

This session will be facilitated by
Caroline Angus, Head of Innovation: Suffolk and North East Essex ICB
Justine Stalker-Booth, Deputy Director of Finance: Specialised Commissioning (National)
