We are excited to announce HFMA Bands 2-6: Governance and Audit: an introduction on the 4th June.

Free to attend for all HFMA members.

• Introductions – to include understanding whether anyone attending has any experience or insight into audit in the NHS (depending on numbers could use the chat or could use slido)
• Governance in NHS organisations: the board and its committees
• The role of the audit committee (membership, attendance, remit)
• Audit within the NHS (and for each of the below, relevant regulations, how they are appointed, their role etc):
• External audit
• Internal audit
• Clinical audit
