After two years of the pandemic financial regime, the NHS now faces the challenge of achieving financial balance while managing the operational recovery from Covid in terms of waiting lists, staffing levels and demand for urgent and emergency care.

This webinar, Unit4’s FP&A lead discusses with two of Unit 4’s NHS customers how they have selected, developed and implemented their enterprise resource planning (ERP) and finance planning and analysis strategy.

They discuss how removing spreadsheets has streamlined reporting, budgets and enabled more collaborative working. The NHS trusts will share their tips for best practice, their aspirations for the future and how agile reporting and scenario modeling helps them achieve financial sustainability.

They discuss going beyond excel and why NHS trusts need a budgeting, planning and forecasting solution?

We look how organisations today answer the 4 big questions

  • how have we done?
  • how are we doing?
  • where are we going?
  • what should we be doing?

This panel debate uncovers some of the challenges, successes and aspirations for the future of finance in NHS environment.
