This course provides a useful guide to anybody involved in the commissioning process. As well as identifying the concepts behind commissioning, the course describes the main stages in the commissioning cycle and looks at how HSC services are funded.
This course is suitable for staff who are new to HSC, managing a budget, board members and finance staff.

How do I achieve a Foundation award in healthcare finance?
This course can count towards the Foundation award in healthcare finance. To achieve the award you will need to complete five bitesize short courses, including the compulsory short course ‘NHS finance’. The Foundation award can be purchased for just £165+VAT.
