Overview
This course introduces you to the concept of value in healthcare. You will consider the work of two principal contributors in this area: Michael Porter's value equation and Muir Gray's work on the triple value model. Once completed, you will be able to analyse the concept of value in contemporary UK healthcare and critically evaluate opportunities for the NHS to increase value in healthcare through deployment of the techniques and discipline of economics.
This course is suited to those who are managing a budget, clinical staff, operational staff, finance staff and primary care staff.
