Accounting and Standards Committee
Promoting high standards in accounting and financial reporting within the NHS.
The Committee has an active work programme and supports the publication of best practice guidance for members in the areas of financial accounting and accounting standards. It also develops the annual HFMA Pre accounts planning conferences which are a key date in the HFMA calendar.
Membership is drawn from all sectors of the NHS and includes representatives from the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England, the Scottish Government, the Welsh Government, and the National Audit Office.
Meetings are held four times a year.
