Smarter Spending in Population Health (SSPH) is a programme supporting Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) to find the most impactful ways to use their budgets across healthcare pathways. The SSPH programme helps ICSs to understand in greater detail the full population health landscape and identify where changes can be made to create the biggest impacts.
In this session, Andi gives an overview of the approach and talks through what happened when they looked at the provision of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) at five ICS areas including the challenges they faced, the lessons learnt and the results achieved.
